Creative Practitioner

Nurturing creative potential in individuals and communities

"Always, my work is designed and adjusted to give the most tangible difference to people’s lives. When projects become the heart of a community, for me that is a dream fulfilled.”

Donna’s passion is socially-engaged, expressive arts. At the core of her practice, is connection through sharing stories to understand one another; find purpose, make sense of the world and increase support networks. In all that she does, she nurtures creativity and confidence in people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities; especially in their community and through participation in the arts.

Donna’s work is profiled here in the categories: 2022, Wellbeing, Celebration and Education.

Education

Donna believes that everyone can develop and express creativity throughout their life. Her dementia groups enjoy being creative well into their 80’s and 90’s. Collaborative, and inter-generational art projects are created with schools, colleges, museums and galleries.

“Dear Donna, what an amazing piece of work, so well crafted. I am proud to have inspired such a great tapestry. Keep up the good work, love Grayson Perry & Alan Measles.” >>
